Meet Dr. Alexandra Quick, a graduate of The University of Rhode Island Physical Therapy program. Her professional background is in orthopedics, pregnancy rehabilitation, pelvic health physical therapy, and trigger point dry needling. She specializes in manual therapy, patient empowerment and education, and early mobilization.
Join us in-person or virtually, as Dr. Allie talks about Physical Therapy in pregnancy and postpartum including but not limited to:
- When you might want to seek help (in pregnancy AND postpartum)
- How/why a PT can help
- Education about your pelvic floor
- Shared yoga principles including proper breathwork to support movement
- Body awareness in certain poses/sequences/movements
- Empowerment and choice in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
